Useful, but very detailed - I found this book very useful when I was doing Business Studies at A-Level as it has a great amount of detail for both AS and A2 level. The only problem is, is that the book is very large and very detailed, but all I did was look in the index for a particular topic, and I managed. A very useful part of the book, are the vast amounts of detailed quick revision and essay style questions included, which help greatly when preparing for exams. I found this the one of the most useful Business studies books during my course, because the revision guides only give quick, shortened guides which can often miss information out that can help your understanding of the subject. For another useful, but less-detailed book try the green A2 Business Studies by Andrew Gillespie.
Brilliant Book - This Book is absolutely essential for anybody studying Business A-Level.I am studying Marketing at University and at this level it still comes in handy atleast for the basic stuff.(when you need a little refresher) Its not one of those books you throw/give/sell away when youv e finished.I was also taught by Ian Marcouse - he DOES know his stuff! Good Book.
absolutely useless - This book is awful, it is far to long winded. the AQA text books are much better. we hardly use this book now because the teachers also know that it is usless. if you want a revision guide the gcp revision guide for business are very helpful.
Not as good as it cracked up to be - We used this book in school for our A-level course and many people in my class didn t find it very useful as a learning resource
Best business book - This is a really great book. It desbribes everything clearly and really gives you a better understanding of business studies. Even thought it was printed in 2000 it is still very relevant and useful to anyone studying business. The main themes don t change year to year! Buy it!
